Six public-record services, each with its own page. Every page says where the data comes from, how to connect the service to Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant, how to read its answers, and how to fix problems.

The services are in beta: free during beta, no account needed. Features, access and pricing may change.

Plumbline

Checks a contractor's license by number or business name in official licensing-board records.

Connect any of them

Each service is a remote MCP server over Streamable HTTP. It needs no authentication, and every tool is read-only. Its page has the full steps.

Claude (web and desktop): open Settings > Connectors, choose Add custom connector, and paste the MCP URL. Leave authentication empty.
Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http <name> <MCP URL>
ChatGPT and other MCP clients: add a remote MCP server with the MCP URL and no authentication. Menu names differ by client and plan.

When a tool asks for a state, a two-letter code such as MD always works. Plumbline and GreenLight also accept the full name; GroundTruth's water lookup and GroundRules' jurisdictions ids need the code (see each page).

Each site also serves /llms.txt, which sums up the service for AI agents with the caveats they should pass on, and a JSON API under /v1/.
